What it means to be a member of SF Perspective: SF members understand that AO is a game meant to be played to have fun. We like to do activities that increase our enjoyment of the game, and of our fellow players. We are always cognizant that other people play this game for fun too, and don't do anything that would ruin other peoples playing experience. It doesn't mater what side, faction, or organization another player is in, we won't ruin their playing experience by griefing or harassing them. Example: No member of SF would ever tag along an omni raid just to try and sabotage it. Yes, they're of the opposite faction, but they are still just people behind a computer screen like us trying to have fun. Respect: We have respect for our fellow gamers. We understand that other players enjoy the game in different ways then we do, and do not mock them for it. We love a fair fight and congratulate the winner even when they have bested us. And when we triumph ourselves, we do not trash or talk down to those we have just beat. Honor: Our honor is behaving to our ideals. We do not stoop to the level of other players when we are harassed. If someone is griefing us, we do not return in kind, because we know that 95% of the time, it's the actions of one that is causing the problem. By doing the same back, we are probably going to ruin the playing experience of others. For example, if we are in the middle of a raid competing against another group, and get trained by someone else in that group, we are not going to ruin their raid by training them back. Fellowship: We love doing activities that allow us to interact with not just members of our own org, but other organizations as well. This is a multi-player game, and we derive our fun through cooperation and working with others. We like to work with other groups that hold to the same ideals that we do, regardless of which side or faction they fall on.
